Small business owners are displeased with President Trump and the House Republican's bill to repeal and replace the Affordable Care Act – and more than half say Trump should "be fired," according to a Fit Small Business survey.
Out of the 1,000 small business owners surveyed, 53.4 percent believe Trump should be voted out of office, while 24.4 percent think he needs a reprimand, and 22.2 percent say he deserves a raise.

More than half (53.1 percent) oppose the health care bill passed by the House, while 13 percent support it. A third (34 percent) have a neutral position the legislation, and a majority (60.4 percent) do not think the bill would have a negative effect on their small business. Nearly all (92.5 percent) say insurance companies should be required to provide coverage to people with pre-existing conditions.
Nearly three-quarters (72 percent) say that expanding access to health care is the most important thing to take into consideration when evaluating a health care plan, while 15 percent say reducing taxes is most important, and 12 percent say decreasing federal debt should be the highest priority.
When asked who they trust most on health care, 44 percent say Sen. Bernie Sanders, 25 percent say former president Barack Obama, 17 percent say Trump, and 14 percent say House Speaker Paul Ryan.
When asked about plans for growing their workforce in 2017, 32 percent say they are likely to add employees, while 7 percent say they are likely to cut staff, and 61 percent plan on staying the same size.
"Based on our findings from 1,000 small business owners, it's clear that many feel that the Trump administration could use some improvement," Fit Small Business's Maggie Aland wrote. "The good news is that most are still feeling positive about the future of their small businesses. Here's to seeing what the rest of the 2017 brings!"
Fit Small Business used Google's small business panel to conduct a survey of 1,000 small business owners. The survey ran from May 5-8 and occurred after the Republican health care plan passed in the House of Representatives.
