The House took the first step to repealing the Affordable Care Act, voting to pass the GOP health care reform bill — the American Health Care Act — earlier this month.

Still, there is a rough road ahead for total repeal and replace of the ACA. As evidenced by delayed House votes and lack of broad support, both in the Senate and publically, the AHCA still needs some work if it's going to go the distance.
