It's pumpkin spice latte time, people!  Don't get me wrong, I love the laidbackness that the summer tends to bring in our industry (although this one seemed to be an emotional rollercoaster), but I love the fall flavors, crispness in the air and wearing boots!  Hell, there is a movie called "Autumn in New York" after all!  It truly is the best time of year here.

My company has been working on implementing some new strategies for onboarding clients and also doing a whole "Feature Friday Campaign" with our clients to feature them on Social Media — it's been a lot of fun!  What have you all been doing?

Christi Houser"This has been a great year for our team!  The team I'm fortunate to lead, the Willamette Falls Agency team (comprised of 18 COUNTRY Financial Reps in Clackamas County, Oregon) moved from  the lowest 10 percent in the company to the top 10 percent in overall production based on our objectives, which qualified us for our company's Executive Club level.  This level recognizes financial reps for helping clients with insurance and financial needs across all lines.  We've had a great time creating a team full of positive, energetic people focused on doing the right thing for clients. We've helped them get grants from COUNTRY financial to help Financial Beginnings and NEDCO!  In addition to leading my team, I have had the privilege of serving on the Board of Directors for the COUNTRY Financial Women in Networking Group.  This group has worked to develop, mentor and empower women in our company to be successful in this career."

Amy Evans"This has been a stellar year for me! I have grown my book of business by 188 percent year to date, which is keeping me very busy. I'm also excited to share that I qualified for the WIFS Circle of Excellence for my second year. I also qualified for NAHU's Leading Producers Roundtable Presidents' Council for the first year! In addition to taking care of my clients this year, I also decided to get more involved in our industry by advocating for agents and brokers on a national level with NAHU in Washington, D.C. as well as at the state level with CAHU in Sacramento. This involvement has led to speaking and writing opportunities, and I post often on social media about the impact of legislative changes in our industry."

Kelly Fox"In the past year, I have ventured beyond my business development background and explored new opportunities with social media. Technology, in my opinion, is the next frontier in business relationships. Rather than meeting with someone face-to-face, it has become easier to reach out to a prospect or client via InMail, iMessage, or video conference. Because of technology, clients are more in control of how they consume information.  People rarely want to spend 20 minutes of their day talking on the phone about your solutions.  Instead, they can quickly Google anything they want to know about you, your services and your company. Time is precious, and appears to move more quickly than it ever has before. My ultimate goal is to build long-lasting professional relationships by cutting through the noise and establishing a bond that still transcends social media by making a human connection."

As always, if you know of great women in the industry who are working hard to make this this industry great, send me an email introduction at [email protected]. I'd love to connect!  Bring on fall!
