HR pro and don't want to retire?
Work At Home Vintage Experts adds HR division to insurance, accounting contract work for older employees.
Older human resources staffers seeking to extend their careers after retirement, whether out of financial necessity or the need to stay active, have a new option—as do employers trying to fill vacancies with experienced personnel in a tight job market.
Work At Home Vintage Experts (WAHVE), an insurance and accounting talent staffing solution for businesses, is expanding its talent base to include human resources personnel.
A contract staffing firm that brings companies and retiring professionals together across the country to meet their work needs, WAHVE aims to help companies in need of talent for long- or short-term requirements full- or part-time, while enabling boomer professionals to extend their careers working from home as contractors.
In its new division, WAHVE aims to do the same for human resources experts as it has done for accounting and insurance personnel. And workers are likely to welcome the potential to augment retirement savings by staying in the job market—without having to commute.
“The HR job market is very tight, and many HR departments cannot find the talent nor have the budget to add headcount to their department,” Sharon Emek, founder and CEO, said in a statement.
Emek added, “Having an expert human resource contractor work the hours a company needs whether long term or for projects—will help them meet their goals with the quality and speed they need. They get someone with superior skills, a strong work ethic and minimal distractions, which results in a higher return on their investment.”
WAHVE screens and places job candidates from a pool of older workers with the knowledge and experience companies need but can’t find in the current job market. Matching the needs of the worker with the needs of the company enables them to bring in staff for short- and long-term assignments, without the need to hire staff as employees.
In addition, older workers have the convenience of working from home while still holding responsible positions that enable them to stay active and to improve their financial situation.
