While there are a lot of things that consultants and other benefits professionals can complain about, being bored certainly isn’t one of them. Each year as we gather for the BenefitsPRO Broker Expo, it seems there’s a whole new wave of exciting (and sometimes scary) changes to discuss.

At this year’s show, conversations among attendees are sure to include the many new details that have come to light surrounding Amazon (or should I say, Haven) and its plans for the health care space. And once again, politics will surely generate debates over drinks, as topics like Medicare for All and the regulation of pharmaceuticals move into the national spotlight. And that’s not to mention the many new products, strategies and ideas that have popped up since last we met.

The buzz surrounding benefits right now is palpable, and I can’t wait to once again share the growing excitement and enthusiasm that is coursing through our industry right now. In the next few days, you’ll have the opportunity to attend keynote sessions featuring some of the top minds in health care, politics and technology, as well as the chance to learn from and collaborate with leading benefits consultants and industry thought leaders. From technology to cost-cutting strategies to ideas on how to better run your business, there will be no shortage of new ideas and inspiration.

It has never been more important to remain educated and informed about the tumultuous world of health care and employee benefits. Luckily, you’re in exactly the right place.

I can’t wait to see you at this year’s Expo as we continue to shape the future together.
