Salary's not everything, of course, but it can be useful to know which jobs for business majors currently pay the highest salaries or have the potential to pay the highest at mid-career. Our sister site ThinkAdvisor pulled data from PayScale's extensive College Salary Report for 2019. The College Salary Report collected alumni compensation data from 3.2 million employees, representing more than 4,000 universities across the U.S. to determine, among other things, mid-career salary potential of these jobs and related majors. Mid-career is figured as 10 years in the chosen field of work. To figure the salary, PayScale combined base annual salary or hourly wage, bonuses, profit sharing, tips, commissions, overtime, and other forms of cash earnings, but not stock compensation. |
