This installment of benefits and retirement industry products adds some categories of solutions we've not seen before. Take a look and mark these trends.

Wasatch Global Investors announced the launch of the Wasatch International Select Fund (NASDAQ:WAISX and WGISX) and the Wasatch Global Select Fund (NASDAQ:WAGSX and WGGSX). The new funds can invest in companies of all sizes but will focus on mid caps, with a sweet spot generally below $20 billion. The Global Select Fund will invest in companies in countries in developed, emerging and frontier markets, including the U.S., while the International Select Fund will invest in companies in foreign developed markets, excluding the U.S.

Take Command Health announced its Individual Coverage HRA (ICHRA) administration platform. Employers can provide a monthly allowance for employees to purchase their own insurance and get reimbursed. It also provides a private insurance exchange, allowing employees to review and compare individual plans that will work with their ICHRA.

Pentegra released a new book on retirement planning for small businesses:  412(e)(3). Safe Stable. Secure. A Tax-Advantaged Retirement Plan with Guarantees by Mary Read, CPC, CPFA, QPA and Jim Hiza, CPA, provides key insights on two critical financial challenges faced by business owners today: reducing tax liability and saving for future retirement, while exploring the many advantages of qualified retirement planning for closely held businesses.

Paycor announced Paycor Analytics, powered by Visier, the global specialist in people analytics and planning. Paycor Analytics is designed to provide real-time data insights, benchmarking, predictive analytics and more, to answer such questions as workforce costs and how they're changing, the risk of critical talent resignations and suggested retention strategies, how to reach diversity goals and more.

Milk Stork announced that it is working with over 600 organizations to provide its services as an employee benefit. To date, Milk Stork has made over 49,000 milk deliveries totaling more than 2.6 million ounces of breast milk. Milk Stork offers three distinct services:

  • Pump & Ship : Ship refrigerated breast milk home overnight from anywhere in the U.S.
  • International Pump & Check: Pack refrigerated breast milk and check it as luggage on the flight home.
  • Pump & Tote: Take refrigerated breast milk home with you in a convenient carry-on tote

MedAnswers announced that it is adding up to 1,000 new fertility specialists across the United States, Canada, Europe and Latin America.MedAnswers connects anonymous users struggling to conceive with specialists such as reproductive endocrinologists, acupuncturists, urologists and attorneys on the free FertilityAnswers app available on iOS and Android.

Global IQX announced software enhancements to its Global IQX platform. They include AI-powered census scrubbing, automated end-to-end group case workflow, dynamic proposal generation, small- and large-group rating, a quick-quoting system, data scores, and automated renewals.  Global IQX supports life, health, AD&D, voluntary, worksite, disability, critical illness, vision and dental insurance.

Foresters Financial announced the launch of Advantage Plus II Participating Whole Life.  Anyone who is insured under a life insurance certificate from Foresters is a member and can receive exclusive complimentary member benefits. The option of a paid-up insurance rider and a variety of other riders to customize coverage are available, as is a Charitable Benefit provision.

Carrot Fertility announced the launch of the Carrot Card, a flexible fertility debit card for employees who have access to Carrot at work. The employer-sponsored debit Carrot Card lets employees pay for treatment like egg freezing, in vitro fertilization (IVF) and adoption, donor and gestational services, and more, at approved Carrot provider locations at the time of service. The financial benefit ranges from $5k to $100k per employee. Employees engage with their personalized Care Team for coaching and clinic matching.

BrightPlan announced the BrightPlan Smart Budget. Embedded in BrightPlan's enterprise-class platform, Smart Budget tracks spending against budget in real-time and alerts employees of overspending. It is the latest addition to the BrightPlan Platform,which includes BrightPlan Financial Wellness Coach and BrightPlan Financial Wellness Score.

BPAS announced the launch of a custom guaranteed stable value solution with Lincoln Financial Group. The newly-launched BPAS Stable Value option is an elite cash product for BPAS Fiduciary Services VEBA plans (Voluntary Employees' Beneficiary Association, a tax-exempt, irrevocable Trust under Section 501(c)(9) of the Internal Revenue Code). In addition to the Lincoln Stable Value, the BPAS solution is a fully integrated VEBA HRA with daily valuation recordkeeper, administrator, clearing firm, actuary, claims processing, and custodial services.

Compensation management provider beqom announced the release of its version 9.2. tool. It is designed for HR and managers to get an all-in-one view of an employee's total rewards, including all of an employee's compensation elements. A new budgeting feature offers real-time views of compensation budget and decisions.
