Employee benefits solution providers are launching or improving a variety of products aimed to help in such areas  as prescription drug comparison, mutual fund cost calculation, teletherapy for adults and adolescents, mindful wellness, and employee savings.  But wait, there’s more —

SingleCare, the prescription savings service of RxSense, has partnered with WebMD, on WebMDRx, to provide WebMD’s visitors with the abililty to compare prescription drug prices at local pharmacies and get WebMDRx discounts. Users can search for a product description and prices for filling it at nearby pharmacies, then text, print or email a coupon to themselves or download the mobile app and show it at the pharmacy.

Independence Blue Cross and GlobalFit have teamed up to offer GlobalFit Anywhere. GlobalFit Anywhere lets consumers browse, book, and pay for fitness classes, gym workouts, and training sessions across multiple fitness providers and negotiates discounted fitness class rates.

Grand Rounds, a health care company that matches employers and employees to high-quality healthcare, announced the launch of Premium Navigation, its most comprehensive population health solution that provides one place to go for all health care needs—clinical and beyond. Within Premium Navigation, members also have access to Grand Rounds’ Connected Care Program (CCP), a physician-led, comprehensive care management program.

Personal Fund, the mutual fund cost calculator for investors and advisors, relaunched with an updated cost estimate algorithm powered by new, proprietary analysis of 46,000 mutual funds and ETFs, over several asset classes for the period 2000-2016. One month access to Personal Fund is $29.95, or a monthly recurring subscription is $19.95 per month. Enterprise licenses are also available.

Financial technology company Even announced a new savings product. Members can now allocate up to 10 percent of their paycheck to each goal, with those funds being automatically transferred to each goal’s corresponding FDIC-insured account every pay period. Members can use Even’s savings product to define personalized goals; automatically transfer up to 10 percent of each paycheck for each goal; withdraw money from savings accounts at any time.

The Whole Purpose, a health first company offering individuals and corporations an approach to mindful wellness, announced its new and expanded menu of services, which now includes Connect and Curate in the Calm, Natural Art, Build your Own and Financial Freedom workshops. In Financial Freedom, The Whole Purpose and Northwestern Mutual come together to teach a course in financial planning.

Telehealth provider MeMD launched telepsychiatry for adults and teletherapy for adolescents and teens. Its telepsychiatry solution offers a national network of state-licensed, NCQA-credentialed psychiatrists and psychiatric nurse practitioners that provide treatment through a variety of therapeutic tools. MeMD members can connect with a provider over the phone or computer. With its virtual care for youth ages 10-17, parents can schedule sessions via phone, computer or mobile device with a licensed, credentialed provider who has expertise in treating adolescents and teens. Parents are involved with the first session to ensure they are comfortable with the treatment provided.

First Choice Health, a provider-owned health care organization, announced a partnership with health and benefit navigation company Rightway Healthcare. FCH’s integration of Rightway as part of its core offering helps members find care providers; review background information on doctors; understand bills and schedule appointments. It includes a dedicated personal Navigator as the employee’s single point of interaction for health care, as well as a centralized portal and mobile app for medical benefits.

Businessolver unveiled Goal Accounts (GAs), the most recent addition to the new MyChoice Accounts platform. GAs automatically deduct employee-specified funds from their paycheck, after taxes, and deposit them into an account. Employees can then access these funds anytime via a debit card or electronic transfer. Employees can establish a GA as part of their benefits enrollment process, since the accounts are integrated with Benefitsolver. 

HR tech company 15Five announced the launch of The Best-Self Academy online education platform. It aims to provide managers with training materials to build the skills needed to communicate more effectively, measure and improve performance, and create a positive, high-performing organization.The Best-Self Academy currently offers a series of courses and lessons to achieve the Best-Self Manager Certification.
