Despite the coronavirus pandemic, HR benefits managers and retirement advisors and benefits brokers still must attend to the needs of everyday business.  And the solution providers are still working to provide new and improved tools to help them do the job.

Voya Financial announced myHealthMoney. The myHealthMoney digital assistant will be available to any participant who has a Voya HSA, including Voya Retirement plan participants with a Voya HSA. The digital assistant guides employees through a series of questions to generate a personalized set of suggestions for how to contribute to their Voya HSA, and it evaluates the employee’s current and projected health care spending, as well as tax savings, to recommend what percentage should come from their Voya HSA versus spending “out of pocket.”

Tickeron announced its 401(k) Report feature providing plan sponsors, plan advisors and plan participants with artificial intelligence analysis on close to 26,000 U.S. company 401(k) plans. The 401(k) Report feature provides users with plan details, general statistics, plan menu, diversification analysis, fees & expenses, and fundamentals.

PCS Retirement announced the ManagedPlan turnkey solution for retirement plan sponsors and their financial advisors, developed and run in partnership with Envestnet Retirement Solutions.  Through ManagedPlan, the PCS Retirement recordkeeping platform will be fully integrated with Envestnet’s Wealth Management Platform. PCS will handle recordkeeping and administrative services at the plan level, and for individual participant accounts. In addition, advisors can log into PCS’s Advisor Lab 401(k) ToolkitSM via a single sign-on from Envestnet to create proposals for new plans.

HSA Bank, a division of Webster Bank, N.A., and Jellyvision, makers of ALEX, announced a partnership to develop a Health Savings Account (HSA) product that will focus on user education, health care consumerism, and highlight just-in-time benefits for employees. The new HSA experience will be available as an add-on to ALEX. Jellyvision and HSA Bank’s new product will be available to select customers in the fourth quarter of 2020.

Howard Capital Management, Inc. announced its new 401(k) Optimizer. The 401(k) Optimizer is a 401(k), 403(b) and 457 plan management tool designed to help individuals better manage their retirement accounts, with real-time alerts notifying users when they should make changes to their 401(k) plans. Users will have access to Howard’s signature stop-loss protection tool, called the HCM-BuyLine, and the ability to opt in to quarterly updates and HCM-BuyLine calls. Additionally, users will have access to Howard’s retirement calculator and the opportunity to integrate the 401(k) Optimizer with their financial institution.

data245 announced the release of its HR robot assistant. HR Bazaar is a bot able to provide W2s, pay stubs, benefit plan information, incident reports, employee surveys, news/updates, and much more. This virtual experience is customizable and devised to cater to employees everywhere.

CareerPlug announced the launch of Voyager, the new version of its applicant tracking software. Voyager delivers a redesigned user interface,  including an updated job posting form with a multi-step form format, hiring process steps, and new job profile page that surfaces the most important job data in one place.

ArmadaCare launched a new supplemental insurance solution, WellPak with Guide. A fully insured hospital indemnity plan at its core, WellPak with Guide combines coverage for doctor visits, prescriptions, massage therapy and acupuncture, with virtual behavioral health and well-being sessions to address mental health, stress management and burnout.

The company also launched a suite of supplemental expense reimbursed insurance plans aimed at addressing the high turnover challenges faced by hospital systems, skilled nursing facilities and other health care organizations. HealthPro Ultimate is designed with physicians, executives and administrators in mind. HealthPro Advanced is designed to support mid-career nurses, advanced practitioners and allied health professionals. HealthPro Launch is designed for recent graduates who’ve just begun their careers in the healthcare industry.

Alight Solutions announced it has enhanced its benefits counselor services through the creation of Alight Benefits Guidance. Alight’s licensed counselors connect with employees to help them understand their full benefits package, including core and voluntary benefits, and navigate the process with high quality providers. Alight Benefits Guidance also works with employers and their brokers, carriers and consultants to create tailored benefits strategies and communications, modify plan designs and increase employee enrollment and year-round plan utilization.

AAAtraq, a compliance identification management system for website owners, has been launched. AAAtraq assesses current levels of risk, provides guidance to demonstrate reasonable adjustment and enables ongoing certification. A monthly subscription service provides access to AAAtraq’s full managed service, which includes a AI based training and education for developers and content producers, and benchmarking and KPIs to measure improvements. Subscribers receive an AAAtraq ‘accessibility rating’ badge that can be displayed on websites warning those looking to take legal action that they are working towards digital compliance. Complementary insurance (currently for organisations based in the USA) with up to a US$50,000 benefit limit from global carrier BRIT is also offered.
