If you were to browse the websites and literature of most companies and associations that make up the employee benefits world, you could be forgiven for coming to the conclusion that the industry is a diverse and inclusive place. But appearances can be deceiving. Despite years of lip service, corporate initiatives and a library full of stock photos featuring smiling faces of all colors, the insurance industry is still notably lacking in racial diversity.
