Another step: 2020 BenefitsPRO Broker Expo

Our 16th annual BenefitsPRO Broker Expo has gone virtual--so you have no excuse to miss it!

We won’t be able to get together in Austin for our 16th annual BenefitsPRO Broker Expo, but that doesn’t mean we can’t share our ideas and experiences and continue to build our collective wealth of knowledge.

Even before the start of the COVID-1p pandemic, health care has been a highly politicized issue, the stuff of headlines and heated cable news discussions. In addition, a bevy of disruptors, from Amazon and Google to Walmart and Best Buy, have turned their eyes (and money) toward health care. These days, benefits advisors and other professionals in the employee benefits industry are no strangers to the spotlight.

And then, enter coronavirus, which has only hastened the urgency for reform and disruption. The issues employers and their benefits advisors face have not only not gone away, but they’ve become even more critical. And that’s why we decided to forge ahead with this year’s BenefitsPRO Broker Expo–in a virtual environment.

For those of you who spend every day working to help employers and their employees find the best care at the lowest price, this current environment has created both enormous turmoil and unprecedented opportunity.

Innovative new strategies, solutions and products are appearing every day that are helping benefits advisors make significant improvements for their clients and fueling a growing sense of excitement, enthusiasm and collaboration.

Our 16th annual BenefitsPRO Broker Expo–and the first to take place virtually–will continue to build on the industry’s momentum. This year’s keynote sessions feature leaders in health care, politics and technology:

Former Florida Governor GOP presidential candidate Jeb Bush will share his thoughts on the election year, the state of American politics, and will look ahead to what’s next. Before running for the Republican presidential nomination in June of 2015, Bush led his own successful consulting business, Jeb Bush and Associates, whose clients ranged from small technology start-ups to well-known Fortune 500 companies. He also served as the chairman of the Foundation for Excellence in Education, a national foundation focused on education reform, and was the co-chairman of the Barbara Bush Foundation for Family Literacy and chair of the National Constitution Center.

Janet Trautwein, CEO of NAHU provides an update on what’s going on inside the Beltway and what to expect in 2020 and the coming years.  For the latest on everything from Medicare for All to changes in the Cadillac Tax and regulations on every aspect of health care delivery and health care financing, you won’t want to miss this important update on issues that affect you and your clients.
