What’s the good news, ladies? Trick-or-treat: 4th quarter is upon us!

This month, I get to introduce you to two more women who have taken growth to heart and are looking for the best ways to be successful. Gretta and Lindsay have both taken their practices to the next level by looking not only inside, but to the outside, as well!

It’s that time of year … 4th quarter!  With so many unknown factors for all of us right now, I’m still wondering if it’s going to be a trick or a treat.  We have taken steps to be able to conduct virtual open enrollments. We’ve also been doing video presentations on proposals that we are getting rave reviews about, since no one likes to read a play-by-play email anymore when you attach a quote!  A lot of these tools came from women who have been featured in this series in the past and shared their ideas through our Wonder Woman Mastermind that we started in July.

I am so grateful for these women I’ve met along the way who are all so open to sharing their tips and tricks.  This month, I get to introduce you to two more women who have taken growth to heart and are looking for the best ways to be successful.  Gretta and Lindsay have both taken their practices to the next level by looking not only inside, but to the outside, as well!

Gretta Zutz, National Financial Network

“Working virtually was something I had started but had not really committed to towards the end of 2019.  A mentor had asked me “Why not work 100% virtually?  You’ll get so much more accomplished as a new mom.”   2020 forced us all to shift and thankfully, I was prepared for it.  Now my process is more streamlined, meetings are shorter and more impactful, and I’m able to take on more in a day.

In January, I hired an executive coach with the goal of attracting more complex cases and more business owners.  Coaching has helped me tremendously.   In May, I started a think tank for entrepreneurs and through this community, I’ve been introduced to dozens of influential women.”

Lindsay Clarke Youngwerth, Shandro & Co

“One of the most significant accomplishments that I have made this year was asking for help.  Irecognized that I had ambitions that exceeded my capacity, and I knew that I would need help to understand how to level up in my business.

I found a coaching team that helped me design new processes, built a partnership with a longtime colleague, and started effective marketing to help me meet my goals.  In the process, I found that it was easy for me to transition from in-person meetings to digital meetings during the pandemic and that it was possible to close new business even if I had never met the business owner in-person.

Having already established digital processing systems and requiring all of my clients to do online enrollment made COVID easier.  The only thing I had to rush to complete was a good PowerPoint for digital employee benefit orientations.”

Know of an incredible woman in our industry who gets things done?  If so, I’d love to connect!  You can just shoot over an email with their information or feel free to make a virtual introduction at scombs@combsandco.com   Stay safe, sane and mask up, my friends! Godspeed for open enrollment!
