I’m ready to turn the page and look towards 2021 all bright eyed and bushy tailed and excited for new things to come. Let me introduce you to Cansada, Jenna and Emily!
Who’s ready for this year to wrap up? I feel like everyone just raised their hands. You remember how when 2020 hit, everyone came out with things like “Vision 2020” and “2020 Focus”? Boy, if we knew then what we know now. I know there have been positives that have come out of this year, but I’m ready to turn the page and look towards 2021 all bright eyed and bushy tailed and excited for new things to come.
I’m really excited about this month’s installment, because it features three women from the same firm who I was connected with through social media. The icing on the cake was when I looked up the firm and found out they are located in God’s Country, aka Missouri, where I’m originally from! So without further ado, please let me introduce you to Cansada, Jenna and Emily!
Cansada Stark, Jenks/Long Insurance
“As an agency owner, 2020 has definitely thrown us some crazy twists and turns. Our agency realized real quick when COVID-19 hit that we needed to make some changes in how we do business. And we have definitely faced some challenges. My focus has been to have a positive outlook for our clients, listen to their needs, and be more compassionate about what they are going through. We offer curbside service, online service help, and in office appointments, depending on what the client is comfortable with. I have been in this industry since 1991 and let’s just say insurance can throw a lot at you when you least expect it. This year will go down in the history books, but our goals are still being met.”
Jenna Voight, Jenks/Long Insurance
“One of my professional focuses over the last 12 months has been to dial in on the specificneeds of my individual clients through cross-selling. By providing insurance services for individual and group health to personal lines as well as commercial lines, I have an abundance of services to offer my clients to make sure their future is secure. Knowing your products and how to apply them to each individual need is very crucial.
Continuing education is extremely important to me and is mandatory in an insurance industry that is forever changing. The industry has been a male-lead force for quite some time and I aspire to be a strong female sales leader who knows her products inside and out in order to share the exact same knowledge with my clients.”
Emily Stratman, CLCS, CISR, Jenks/Long Insurance
“My biggest business accomplishment during the past 12 months has been developing new procedures in our office to be able to organize and reach out to our current clients about group benefits. I am licensed in both life and health and property and casualty. I primarily focus of property and casualty but I wanted to obtain a life and health license so I can be a one-stop shop for all of my clients, looking at commercial renewals, meeting with clients, and making sure they know we can handle all of their group benefits as well as key man life insurance. My goal is to be well-rounded in every area of insurance, be able to service my clients without them having to go anywhere else, but most of all, to make sure they are covered all around. I love what I do, I love my team and am thankful that I get to work each day with people that who the same morals and goals so we can all grow!”
I wish all of you and yours a happy holiday season! As always, if you know of any Wonder Women in our industry, please send them my way! And continued luck as we wrap up the year!
