“The pandemic has exponentially accelerated the adoption of virtual health solutions, including for specialty care,” said Julian Flannery, founder and CEO of Summus Global. “The market is also telling us there is room for innovation in virtual specialty care to broaden impact across the continuum of care.”

As more employers buy into virtual health solutions, they’ll also be more closely scrutinizing their options. According to Summus Global, doctor quality of the doctor, cost/ROI, and user experience top the list of factors HR teams are looking for as they evaluate programs.
