Here are recent product announcements for the employee benefits and employer-sponsored retirement plan industry.
Willis Towers Watson announced it has enhanced its Coverage Checkup tool for retirees who use Via Benefits, its individual marketplace. Retirees use the tool to match their profile (current medications and dosage) against available Part D Prescription Drug plans. The tool then makes a recommendation: stay in your existing plan or choose a better fit plan based on the total annual cost (including premiums, deductibles and out-of-pocket expenses) and coverage of the individual’s medications.
Solera Health announced the release of Solera Connect. Solera Connect serves as a consumer’s ‘digital front door’ to evidence-based lifestyle, behavioral and social solutions. It integrates with care management systems and other existing health management platforms and handles tasks including claims processing, compliance, consumer engagement, eligibility checking, consumer matching, and vendor management.
Kumanu, in partnership with ProMedica, announced the launch of a new employer-focused solution Resourceful, designed to address unrecognized Social Determinants of Health issues that can affect employees’ quality of life and work. It identifies risk factors in an employer’s workforce and helps connect people with resources available at work, or in their community, confidentially.
Independence Blue Cross now offers members access to a program to help them reduce student loans and improve their financial well-being. GradFin is available at no cost to consumer plan members and commercial group customers, and program services are available to Independence members and those in their household, even if the household members are not enrolled in the insurer’s medical benefits. For commercial group customers GradFin is a value-added service.
DailyPay announced a new solution launching later this year, REWARD by DailyPay, which is designed to give managers the ability to incentivize their staff with on-the-spot payments for everything from bonuses for exemplary work to special incentives for picking up additional shifts.
Bloom Healing Arts Academy has launched a new online platform of virtual workshops and more than 20 interactive classes covering topics ranging from breathwork to group hypnotherapy, positive mindset, meditation and more. Members can learn on their own time, and at their own pace, with Bloom’s class instructors, who help guide them along their journey.
401GO has launched an automated 401(k) plan setup process, modeled for small businesses and startups. The system asks questions to understand the employer’s goals, intentions and business functions, then guides the user through the various plan choices.
401kAdministrators.com announced a new pooled employer 401k Plan with no fees or costs to employers. Investments are provided through self-directed brokerage accounts. 401kAdministrators serves as the plan provider, plan administrator and named plan fiduciary.
