From 401(k) plans to wellness apps, here’s recent news of tools and products for the employee benefits and retirement industry.

The Standard, a provider of recordkeeping and investment services, announced Accelerate, a new 401(k) recordkeeping solution. Features include a scalable platform that can accommodate plan growth; an intuitive online Quick Start Tool; optional investment fiduciary services from Morningstar; a designated account manager, and more.

The Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM), and the SHRM Foundation, partnering with Psych Hub, announced the creation of the Workplace Mental Health Ally Certificate. The Workplace Mental Health Ally Certificate is an online learning program consisting of a series of eight multimedia courses covering common mental health conditions, substance use, suicide, safety planning, diversity and bias, and communication skills.

Sharecare, a digital health company, announced the launch of Unwinding by Sharecare, a mental well-being app designed to help people better understand how their minds work, reduce their stress, and build healthier habits.

ProNvest, a provider of customized managed account services announced that Spectrum Pension Consultants and GROUPIRA have made ProNvest available on their retirement platforms. Both firms will now have access to ProNvest’s full suite of participant-based fiduciary solutions including customized and personalized investment models, enrollment support, retirement education and financial wellness assistance.

PBI Research Services, a death audit and locate service provider, announced the launch of CertiCensus, a pension plan population management solution. It includes features for identifying decedents with its CertiDeath solution, locating missing participants and/or beneficiaries, updating Personally Identifiable Information (PII), and sending required participant communications and managing all returned mail.

The International Coaching Federation (ICF) Thought Leadership Institute announced the launch of its Global Digital Library, which houses its growing body of knowledge, rooted in insights from researchers and artists in fields as diverse as economics, anthropology, education, coaching, and even poetry.The Global Digital Library will house the insights resulting from Convenings, an event series committed to harnessing collective wisdom to help people solve complex problems.

Insurance Applications Group, an insurtech company, announced the launch of HospitalityCARE VPC (Virtual Primary Care), an employer-paid health care service and insurance bundle that couples PlushCare, its primary care telemedicine platform, with medical and dental insurance benefits for the hospitality industry.

Firefly Health, a virtual-first health care company, announced the launch of the Firefly Health Plan. It is available to employers in Massachusetts, Maine, and Ohio, with care and coverage available to remote employees across the country.

AssetMark, a provider of wealth management and technology solutions, announced the recent launch of a Pooled Employer Plan (PEP) available on the AssetMark platform. AssetMark PEP is a 401(k) plan that allows business owners to pool their retirement assets with those of other employers and to outsource the fiduciary and operational duties involved in sponsoring a plan.
