As we approach the end of 2021, benefits and retirement professionals are juggling open enrollment, myriad deadlines and compliance tasks, not to mention a few virtual or in-person holiday gatherings. So I’ve kept our products roundup brief, to offer a quick glance at what’s new.
UKG (Ultimate Kronos Group) introduced its new financial wellness platform, UKG Wallet. It is designed to provide people with immediate access to their earned wages while also empowering them with budgeting tools, educational resources, and financial counseling.
The Lutheran Immigration and Refugee Service and the Tent Partnership for Refugees have released a guide, The U.S. Employers’ Guide to Hiring Afghan Refugees, created to help employers in hiring Afghans who arrived in the U.S. over the summer. A coalition of 50 major U.S. companies has pledged to help integrate the refugees into the economy.
Sifted, an employee engagement platform, announced a partnership with Cameo for Business, Cameo’s B2B platform for marketing and events, to bring celebrities to its virtual team-building experiences this holiday season. Remote workforces can create team-building experiences with a custom-recorded message or a virtual drop-in from a celebrity.
Salary Finance announced a partnership with Corestream, a platform for connecting employees with personalized lifestyle benefits. Salary Finance’s full suite of products will now be available on the Corestream platform, making it possible for employees at Corestream client organizations to enroll in voluntary benefits.
Fidelity Investments announced Guaranteed Income Direct, a retirement income product that lets individuals convert a portion of their 401(k) or 403(b) savings into an annuity. Scheduled to launch for select clients in the first half of 2022, it will be more broadly available later in 2022.
DocGo, a provider of mobile health services and medical mobility solutions, launched a turnkey solution that is designed to provide employers with the tools and resources needed to comply with the COVID-19 vaccination and testing emergency temporary standard issued by the Occupational Safety and Health Administration.
Ceridian, a provider of human capital management technology, recently announced streaming pay will be part of its Dayforce Wallet. Streaming pay will automatically deliver earned wages to workers’ wallets at the end of each work day. It will be available beginning in 2022.
