Technology in the benefits space has come a long way in the past few decades, but it alone is not enough to support company and participant needs.
Technology in the benefits space has come a long way in the past few decades, but it alone is not enough to support company and participant needs.
“Technology is only as powerful as the person wielding it,” says industry veteran Michelle Hernandez, Vice President and General Manager for Conduent Human Capital Solutions. And while technology can solve problems and integrate systems together to create a good user experience, companies want more.
“Service providers need to bridge the gaps,” notes Hernandez. “Employers can run great reports but if they want to understand what’s behind the data, then they need support from a service provider.”
Michael Taggart, CAHRUS’ Co-CEO agrees, saying it’s especially true when employers are unsure of what they need.
Taggarts adds that benefits attract and retain talent–and healthcare is the most visible of them all. “They want to provide top tier programs that are accessible, but as importantly, can live within their budget,” adding that service providers help employers navigate this critical area.
Listen and learn more from Michelle and Michael as to how service providers support and integrate with technology to provide the best plan solutions, the value of health and wellness benefits and the importance of employee engagement.
