It's 2023, and the onslaught of layoffs hasn't slowed down. This economic downturn is definitely impacting organizations… but most importantly, the employees that make up these organizations.
I've seen this play out before back in the 2008 Great Recession as companies were faced with similar challenges and decisions. Back at that time, I was working at an HR Technology company sitting on new funding and focused on hyper-growth.
