One-time poker mogul Molly Bloom, packed track sessions and a humming exhibit hall kicked off the first day of the 2023 BenefitsPRO Broker Expo on Monday in Atlanta. Bloom delivered an inspiring keynote address that sparkled with glamor as she recounted her rise to the top of the world of celebrity poker games and her shocking fall. Not only did she sprinkle in names, or hints, of high-profile poker players, she brought high-value tips for business networking. Track sessions followed four distinct paths: education, motivation, innovation and administration. Speakers and moderators were Susan Rider, director of compliance and HR consulting at Human Capital Concepts; Marlin Woods of The WOODS Plan; Ryan Miller of RJM; Eric Ryles of ALM; Josh Butler of Butler Benefits & Consulting; Kevin Trokey of Q4intelligence; Eric Silverman of Voluntary Disruption; and Omar Arif of ClaimDOC. Susan Combs of Combs & Company led the always-popular Fast & Furious, where attendees shared some of their best business advice. The BenefitsPRO Broker Expo is an annual conference for the benefits industry. Featuring three days of keynotes, track sessions, networking opportunities and an exhibit hall, this year's edition takes place May 8-10. Related: |
