Advocacy and passion: two pretty big words that can conjure up emotions just by hearing them.  When you know you can advocate for others and make an impact, this fuels your passion to continue in this pursuit.  You can also reverse it and look at it another way: When you have a passion and desire to make an impact, this can lead to opportunities to advocate for others that you may never have imagined. Whether the proverbial chicken or egg came first, each can be looked at as the equation to lead to a rewarding professional life.  

These were the words that came to me when I had the pleasure of interacting with both Arti and Talia.  These women have both hit their strides working toward their passion and advocating for others.  They are on very different professional paths in our industry; however, they are focusing on a journey where they are individually fulfilled and rewarded by having a focus that resonates with them on a deep level.  Bravo to the work they are doing in the industry to help others lead happy and healthier lives.
