Employers and benefits advisors are constantly fighting the good fight to help lower health care costs and improve access to quality care. Unfortunately, inflation is hitting the health care industry (and Americans) pretty hard. According to CMS, Americans spend $13,500 a year on health care alone. And to make matters more complicated, where you live has a bit impact on the cost and quality of health care.

According to a new WalletHub survey, Minnesota tops the list as the state with the best health care system. The survey looked at the cost, access, and health outcomes across all 50 states and Washington D.C. to determine the best and worst state for health care.

Mississippi ranked the worst for health care with a total score of 46.01. While the state ranked 25 for cast, it came in dead last for outcomes.
