Glenn Pransky | MD, M.Occ. Health Associate Professor, University of Massachusetts Medical School Instructor | Harvard School of Public Health

 

Dr. Pransky is an associate professor at the University of Massachusetts Medical School and a Visiting Lecturer at the Harvard School of Public Health. His research and consulting practice has focused on scientific and practical investigations of disability prevention strategies, optimal treatment of musculoskeletal disorders, and work disability in older workers.

He has published over 135 peer-reviewed scientific articles, and has delivered numerous keynote addresses at international conferences. He received the NIOSH Innovative Research Award in 2008, the American College of Occupational Medicine’s Keogh Award for Academic Excellence in 2009, the Royal Society of Medicine’s Osler Medal in 2011, and the ACOEM Health Excellence Award in 2015. Dr. Pransky received his M.D. from Tufts School of Medicine, a MS in occupational health from the Harvard School of Public Health, and completed a fellowship in health services research and policy at the Agency for Health Care Policy and Research. He co-founded and chaired the Work Disability Prevention Scientific Committee of the International Commission on Occupational Health and is a senior editor for the Journal of Occupational Rehabilitation.

Whitney serves as Vice President, Group Product and Network for dental, vision, and supplemental health products at Lincoln Financial, where she is focused on product development, diversification of the portfolio, lifecycle product management, and network growth strategies.

Whitney’s deep experience in group and individual business strategy includes driving sales growth through new products, innovation, and business partnerships, while changing and improving the way health plans are consumed. She has vast expertise in developing strategies to accelerate and differentiate a carrier in achieving its vision to drive innovative and transformative growth by identifying new opportunities through the lens of the consumer.

In previous roles prior to joining Lincoln, Whitney was responsible for marketing and customer acquisition strategies, life product development, value add programs, and development of innovation pipelines. She was also accountable for go to market, product strategy, and market positioning for all individual distribution channels, including affinity, broker, direct to consumer, retiree exchange, and marketplace.

Whitney has over 15 years of insurance experience and earned her bachelor’s degree from Central Connecticut State University School of Business. She is based in Bozrah, CT, where she resides with her husband and three children.
