Happy anniversary to our series! It's hard to believe that eight years have passed since this idea of featuring women in our industry became a reality, thanks to my good friend and Editor-In-Chief, Paul Wilson, who challenged me with, "I just want to hear some good news." Back in 2016, the media was filled with negativity, and 8 years later, the need for positive stories is just as strong, if not stronger.

The number eight is quite special. In numerology, it symbolizes success, authority, and balance, emphasizing the harmony between the material and spiritual aspects of life. Isn't that exactly what this series is about? We share stories and wisdom from women across the country who are doing incredible things in our industry, inspiring others to do the same in their own communities. I'm proud to say that after eight years, these stories continue to inspire me just as much as they did in the beginning.
