The "State of America's Oral Health and Wellness Report," recently published by Delta Dental provides valuable insight for benefits brokers and plan administrators about the importance of integrating dental benefits into employee health plans. This report was the result of surveying 1,000 nationally represented adults ages 18 and older and 1,000 parents of children ages 12 and under.
The report highlights consumers' recognition of oral health's link to chronic conditions, oral hygiene's connection to mental health, and the benefits of routine preventive care.
