Before we dive into the accomplishments of our next feature, I want to pause to express my gratitude to the BenefitsPRO family. This article marks our 100th edition of this series, featuring the incredible women in our industry and shining a light on their accomplishments.

Recently, I was in Missouri helping my family, caring for my two young nieces while their mom recovered from surgery, and spending time with my mother. During a conversation one evening about life, my mom shared something simple yet profound: “There are no easy fixes for big problems.” Those words reminded me of the “why” behind this series. Over eight years ago, Paul Wilson approached me, wanting to combat the negativity in our industry by sharing stories of hope and inspiration. Today, amidst a resurgence of challenges and headlines, I hope this article serves as a reminder that there are good people striving for betterment and greatness each day.

This month, we feature two exceptional women whose stories embody the resilience, innovation, and leadership that drive our industry forward. Pratibha and Meghan remind us that, even in the face of challenges, creativity, collaboration, and commitment can spark transformative results.

Without further ado, please meet Pratibha and Meghan.

“Last year at CoPower, we faced a tough challenge: losing ancillary benefits business due to group attrition. Small groups weren’t renewing and were finding better options elsewhere. To turn things around, I led a deep dive into the data to uncover why groups were leaving and how to stop the trend.

Market analysis revealed evolving customer needs. Partnering with brokers and carriers, we redesigned our product portfolio, addressing gaps and improving service. A bold step was migrating over 1,100 groups to better plans with lower rates, even if it meant taking an initial financial hit. The focus was on accessibility, competitive pricing and member satisfaction.

The results have been transformative. CoPower is now retaining more business, attracting new clients, and contributing to the broader success of Amwins Connect. This experience reinforced my belief in the power of data, collaboration and creative problem-solving to turn challenges into growth opportunities.”

“I believe success in our industry comes from building meaningful relationships and empowering clients with the tools and knowledge they need to thrive. As an account manager, I had the privilege of serving 180+ small business accounts, ensuring every client felt valued and supported. In September 2023, I transitioned to an account executive role, where I now focus on key accounts, working closely with VIPs and C-suite leaders to deliver tailored, innovative solutions.

A highlight of my journey has been guiding organizations through the transition from fully insured to unbundled self-funded plans, enabling them to unlock greater flexibility and cost-efficiency. My passion lies in creating strong client partnerships and helping businesses navigate the complexities of benefits with clarity and confidence. I’m driven by a commitment to excellence and inspired by the opportunity to make a lasting impact on those I serve.”

If you know other remarkable women who are leading with purpose and making an impact in their fields, I’d love to hear about them. Drop me a note at [email protected] so we can continue celebrating and sharing these stories of perseverance and achievement. Together, let’s keep lifting each other up as we close out this year and head into the next chapter with optimism and determination.
