Louis DeStefano| SVP Growth | Oscar Health Louis DeStefano is the Senior Vice President of Growth at Oscar Health, driving the company’s expansion from three states and 90,000 members in 2017 to ~1.8 million nationwide members by 2025. Under his leadership, Oscar’s revenue grew from $229 million in 2017 to $9.2 billion in 2024. Louis leads Oscar’s growth organization, where he oversees sales operations and marketing for its ACA, ICHRA, and ancillary products. He specializes in delivering solutions that serve both government-subsidized consumers and employer-sponsored members. Before Oscar, Louis spent 13 years at UnitedHealthcare, most recently as Vice President of Sales and Account Management for the Northeast region. He has also consulted for healthcare startups like Nava and Garner. He holds a bachelor's degree in Finance from Villanova University.
Robin Hamel| EVP & CHRO | Carenet Health As EVP & CHRO, Robin provides the leadership, management and vision necessary to ensure Carenet continues to grow as a people–first organization. This critically important role leads the organization’s commitment to world–class talent and human capital management. Robin joined Carenet in July 2020, bringing more than 30 years of experience managing human resources organizations across multiple industries, including energy, technology and professional services. Before Carenet, she was executive vice president of human resources and finance at MTVP Power Corporation, a high–tech clean energy company. Robin earned a bachelor’s degree in human resource management from Baker College in Flint, Michigan, and she holds numerous professional certifications.
Nate Lundsten| VP Health & Benefits | Marsh & McLennan Agency Nate joined MMA in June of 2020. His 23 years of consulting experience includes the design and implementation of several domestic utilization-driving health plans for hospitals and health systems across the country, the development of a comprehensive reporting package that demonstrates the impact of various population health management programs on an employer's paid claims spend, and the execution of numerous health and benefit plan unification projects relating to the merger-acquisition of two or more employers. In addition to his health and welfare consulting experience, Nate has played a direct and active role in the definition, development, and leadership of several innovative health care solutions. This experience has equipped Nate with the unique ability to convert an idea into a meaningful business plan and, ultimately, that business plan into a productive solution. Nate is graduate of Saginaw Valley State University and is a proud father to three beautiful girls.
Lindsey Unterberger| VP of Marketing | SureCo Lindsey joined SureCo at the beginning of 2023 and now leads the team’s marketing and education efforts. With nearly 20 years of content creation under her belt, Lindsey’s superpower is her ability to translate complex subjects into digestible information. She’s passionate about increasing access to healthcare and was most recently the senior brand and content director for Minded, a VC-funded telepsychiatry startup. Prior to that, Lindsey held editorial leadership positions at Group Nine Media, Dailymail.com, and Glamour. She lives in Brooklyn with her husband, two kids, and a rescue pittie named Maeve.
