The complaint claims the company failed to pay his unused paid personal time after separating from the company and engaged in unfair business practices in violation of California law.
In the latest lawsuit, an Idaho woman, who was hospitalized and had to have her gallbladder removed, alleges that the drug manufacturer was negligent and fraudulently misrepresented the drug's gastrointestinal issues.
"We commend the AG for their continued partnership in stewarding state resources," said HCA Director Sue Birch. "Controlling health care expenditures, especially prescription drug costs, remains a top priority for HCA."
