Gorsuch may say in his confirmation hearings that he wont comment on Roe. Thats fair enough.

Trump has said same-sex marriage is the law of the land, reserving his ire for Roe v. Wade. But conservative justices of the kind he has promised to appoint would almost certainly reverse the recent Obergefell decision.

Is it better to follow the strict letter of the law or to adjust it where appropriate to produce a more equitable result?
