In a solution expected to benefit both employers and workers, dozens of companies this week announced a commitment to hire Afghans and Ukrainians.

"Patients and physicians have a right to expect health insurers to uphold their promise to provide fair and accurate payment for medical services," says Dr. Jack Resneck Jr., president of the American Medical Association.

Earlier this year, the department told retirement plan sponsors they could face an "investigative program" if they allowed digital currencies in their workplace plans.

The company, as well as trustee GreatBanc Trust, caused the plan to overpay for company stock.

More than 787,000 Americans are expected to seek treatment outside the country this year.

"With inflation at record levels not experienced in decades, the financial stress caused by increasing prices is taking a toll on American workers," says Rob Grubka, CEO of Health Solutions for Voya Financial.

Since 2015, the percentage of Americans who reported past-due medical bills has remained in the low 20% range, down from 26% in 2012.

Insurers and pharmacy benefit managers have instituted policies that do not apply copay assistance toward beneficiaries' out-of-pocket costs and deductibles, according to the plaintiffs.
