The non-U.S. supplier of a branded or patented drug could escape by starting to build a factory in the U.S.

The main lobbying group that represents so-called pharmacy benefit managers, the Pharmaceutical Care Management Association, has drafted proposals to bring to the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services.

The 340B ACCESS Act, introduced in the House by Reps. Buddy Carter, R-Ga., and Diana Harshberger, R-Tenn, would establish critical oversight and transparency in the 340B program while providing clear, practical and achievable solutions.
